Cookie Policy
FlipOS uses one cookie, to keep you signed in, and stores a few preferences in your browser. It sets no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies, so there is no consent banner: everything here is strictly necessary for the dashboard to work or is a preference you chose.
The cookie
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
session | FlipOS (first party) | Keeps you signed in after you enter your username and password. Marked HttpOnly and SameSite so scripts and other sites cannot read it, and Secure over HTTPS. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
demo_session | FlipOS demo (first party) | The same, for the demo copy of the dashboard, so the demo and the real dashboard do not sign each other out. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
Browser storage (not cookies)
These are saved by your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and are not sent to us.
| Key | What it remembers |
|---|---|
theme | The colour theme you picked. |
flipos.ws | The workspace (shop or personal space) you were last in. |
navOpen | Which sidebar sections are expanded. |
assistMode | Which Live Assist mode you last used. |
flipos.tourSeen | That you have already seen the welcome tour. |
Requests to other sites
When you view orders or buyer messages, product and profile images are loaded directly from TikTok's servers, which means TikTok receives your IP address for those images. No cookie is set by that. Nothing else on the dashboard loads from a third party; fonts, scripts and icons are served by us.
Managing it
Signing out removes the session cookie. Clearing site data for this address in your browser removes the cookie and the stored preferences; you will need to sign in again and pick your theme again. Blocking cookies entirely stops sign-in from working.
